Q: What are the current restrictions for travel?
A: Greece has reopened their borders for UK, USA, and EU residents. May 15th they have announced they will reopen to all countries. Requirements for entry include either a negative PCR test or a vaccine certification, and a passenger locator form. There is no quarantine required. Please check requirements with your airline and also to return your country of residence.

Q: Where is the retreat center and how do I get there?
A: Our retreat center Itha108 is located on the island of Ithaka in Greece. Group transportation is provided from the airport in Kefalonia all the way to our retreat center. To get to Kefalonia you can take a short one hour flight from Athens or fly directly from London and other international cities. Airport code for Kefalonia is EFL. Please arrive to the airport in Kefalonia on Saturday the 10th of July by 12pm to take the group shuttle. On 17th July, the day our retreat ends, the shuttle will take you at 9am from our retreat center back to Kefalonia where you are welcome to stay or fly back to Athens or your home country or continued travels.

Q: When should I plan to arrive?
A: If you are coming from the USA, Canada, or another country with a long flight distance, please arrive at least a day early (preferably longer) to give yourself time to rest, recover, and adjust to the time zone. It’s also nice to have a few days ahead in case of unexpected travel delays. We also recommend staying a few days after the retreat to allow yourself time to integrate the deep work we do together. It can take time to let it all sink in before you return to home, family, and friends.

Q: Where can I stay before the retreat begins and after it ends?
A: Once you register and confirm with your deposit, we will send you our welcome guide with more details on travel recommendations and invite you to our private group where our sisters can coordinate travel plans together ahead of time. While it’s not possible to stay at our retreat center Itha108 before or after the retreat (this is a fully private exclusive use venue) there are many hotels and Airbnbs on our island of Ithaka as well as on nearby Kefalonia where the airport is. We also recommend traveling within Greece if you have the time and the desire.

Q: Can I share a room if I book alone?
A: Yes. We will pair you with another participant. If you are booking with a friend, please book the same shared room so that you are paired together. If you have questions write to me camille@earthdaughters.org. Please note that on shared rooms prices are per person and not per room.

Q: What is the refund policy?
A: All payments are nonrefundable and nontransferable. In rare cases of emergency, a partial balance may be transferred to a future retreat on a case by case basis. In case we are required to reschedule due to pandemics, natural disasters, and other unforeseeable events beyond our control we will transfer your full balance to a future retreat.
