With each moon for nine months, we presence ourselves with a new face of the feminine, to see what She wants to awaken within, through embodied feminine practices, rituals, ceremonies, self inquiry, shadow work, light work, loving community, and more.

A woman’s body is the blueprint for all of creation and contains the mysteries of life, death, and rebirth. All shamanic cultures across the world understood this, and our great womb religions worshipped a woman’s body as the Goddess herself. It was once understood that the body is the holy vessel that houses the soul, just as the Earth is the Eden where Heaven resides. So why then, has this body become the greatest source of shame and the Earth been desecrated by humanity?

Our second moon spiral brings us into the first initiation of womanhood as daughters of lineages that carry magic, mythos, mystery, and also pain, trauma, distortion, repression, and oppression. Here we meet our core wounds which are paradoxically our openings to our greatest potential in this lifetime. At this gateway we summon and awaken the inner Maiden, who is the one that draws us into our original innocence and also into our many initiations of individuation through sexuality, heartbreak, loss, confusion, and pain. We cultivate the resilience and the self devotion to become even more powerful and rise through whatever meets us on the path of life.

The Sister

Sister can be our most sacred support or our most sabotaging enemy. We have all felt the wounds of sisterhood through betrayal, jealousy, judgement, and comparison, either projected towards others or projected upon us. But what if sisters, especially the sisters that we most envy or judge, or the ones who most envy or judge us, were our most profound mirrors in recognizing our own fractures and self denials? For many generations women have been turned against one another to create division and disempowerment, just as our psyche has become divided within. Choosing to heal the sister wound is a powerful healing for the unification of the whole self and for humanity at large.

Fourth Spiral:
The Lover

In our fourth moon spiral we step through the thresholds of our Maidenhood and we dive into the deep waters of our sexual desire and heart longing to merge with another. As we awaken this deep yearning for divine union with the One, we also meet with our wounds of abandonment, rejection, and unworthiness. We are designed for sacred union, for powerful romance, and to bloom open in love with our own counterpart. To awaken the truest purest potential of our sexual and romantic relationships, we must heal our wounded projections of our lovers as God, and trust the divine union of the tantric beloveds within. Our devotion to healing our own masculine-feminine split becomes the nectar that we share and explore with our partners.

The mother

To be Mother is the most sacred responsibility in existence. It is to be a creator being, to birth children, projects, visions, and dreams, and to transform the world through the portal of your womb. In our fifth spiral, we open into the full moon blossoming of Mother, which awaits us once we meet the sexual fires of lover and create through this dynamic energy. The Mother Wound is perhaps the deepest wound there is, as it confronts us with the suffering that we have inherited through distrusting ourselves as creators, sustainers, and nurturers of life. In this spiral we awaken the dynamic nature of Mother in both her ferocity and also her tenderness to protect her innocent children and rebirth a new world of beauty, equality, and harmony for all.

Sixth Spiral:
The Queen

To be Queen is to reside on the throne of one’s own life path. To claim and own one’s own shadow, light, wounds, gifts, mythos, life, and death. The Queen enters all territories, all terrains, and learns how to master whatever initiations come her way. In our sixth moon spiral, we walk the path of Queen by exploring our ability to trust, navigate, and flourish in all of the worlds. Through our past initiations we have gone deep into the shadowy realm of the Underworld, risen high into the magic of the Upperworld, and here at Queen we learn to flourish and prosper at Middleworld without sacrificing the treasure we have gained through our inner work. Queen shows us how to receive and give abundance, love, beauty, and gold, simply by being the magnificence that we are and radiating for the well being of all.

In our seventh spiral we walk the path of the Priestess, reclaiming our place at the center of all existence. As Priestesses we devote ourselves to being the living embodiment of the Goddess in form and attuning ourselves with the sacred dance of creation. Priestess governs the realm of spirituality and sexuality, Heaven and Earth, light and darkness, animal and angel. Many of us have lived lifetimes as Priestesses in the temples of Isis, Aphrodite, Venus, Hathor, Asherah, and far too many to name, and within our ancestral lineages we likely can trace our way back to women who enacted these spiritual rites. Why have so many of us forgotten our Priestess codes, and why are so many of us being called to remember at this time in humanity?

Every woman is a channel, an oracle, and a voice for the great mystery. But to meet this ancient truth and the essence of light at the heart of all of existence, we must traverse the terrifying terrain of death. The wise woman is the one who has died a thousand deaths and lived to tell the tale. The one who knows the great mystery because she has plunged into the blackest of nights and discovered the truth of immortality. In our eighth moon spiral, we summon the Crone, the witch, the hag, she who no longer bleeds because she has become the wisdom of the sacred blood that she now delivers for all those who come to sip from the chalice of truth.

ninth Spiral:
The Soul

Quintessence, Immortality, Truth

Out of the black night sky the light is born as a silver crescent moon and the first dawn. The soul is the immortal quintessence that will never die. To know this part of the self is to know the entire self once everything has been shed. At the end of our spiral through Whole Woman, we arrive back to the beginning, to the great cosmic star of the self that is the seed imprinted within every cell of this body. Just as we unearth this seed of the self through the entire life cycle of woman, we also plant it once again into our next incarnation. Together we summon the soul and reaffirm our devotion to remembering who we really are at the heart of the matter: Love.
