Why have we forgotten?
What if everything we have been taught to distrust about our womanhood is the very doorway that will bring us home to Goddess within us?
For thousands of years we have lived a collective story that tells us the female body is dangerous, not to be trusted, and what makes us separate from God.
This is an ancient and divisive narrative that has kept humanity in disconnection and discord with the true source of our salvation and justified horrific acts of violence towards women and all expressions of the feminine nature.
It was not always this way.
Our ancestors once bowed to the female body as God, for it is the womb of a woman that births the next generation.
A woman’s body was not only a place of child birthing, but was an oracle, a temple, following the rhythms of creation through our moon cycles and life cycles. A woman’s body was the template of Mother Earth. Spirit was not separate from a woman’s body, a woman’s body was the living expression of spirit Herself.
After thousands of years of forgetting, we have finally arrived at the time of our great re-membering.
Goddess is rising once again
This happens not only in the landscape of our world and in the structures of our society, but within our psyche and our body, within our spirituality and our sexuality, as we remember the true value and preciousness of the feminine nature as our Mother Earth, as ourselves, as life.
Reclaiming the feminine as sacred, powerful, and valuable, is the very medicine and invitation of these times we are living in now, for our collective healing and redemption.
When we remember, we not only rebirth our own lives, we birth a new world.
This rebirth will come through more and more women choosing to honor ourselves, to honor our bodies, to honor our sexuality, to honor our life, and to trust the wild river of our power as the very frequency that reunites Heaven and Earth.
That is the power of Awakening Aphrodite within all women, and also within you.
