So… why have women forgotten?
WHY do even the most powerful, beautiful, conscious women still struggle to trust, love, and honor the Goddess in their own female bodies?
Why do even women who are extremely intelligent, self proclaimed feminists, and not at all newbies on the healing journey, still find themselves orienting their worth to what the world wants from them?
Why, even after doing allllllll the work, do wise, inspiring, magical women still judge themselves against inhumanely unrealistic impossible-to-fit-into beauty, body, sexuality, and femininity standards, and hold back the immensity of sacred pleasure, erotic liberation, and divine abundance, they know is possible for themselves and for the world?
After working intimately with mothers, healers, and feminine leaders all across the world for over a decade, here’s what I’ve found…
Sexual violation. Religious shame. Ancestral conditioning. Fear of exile. Sheer exhaustion from wearing every hat for everyone else (mother, wife, business woman, friend, and on and on and on). Past life experiences. Ancient unconscious priestess trauma. Soul contracts. Collective demonization of feminine power.
And perhaps more than anything else…
The unsustainable demands of a culture that expects us to constantly override our own emotions, sensations, and intuition, to keep up, “belong”, and even survive.
To various degrees, we’ve all been taught to abandon our deeper Feminine selves in Patriarchal culture.
It’s ancient, collective, and runs through the lineage. It’s woven into every aspect of our society. It’s been profoundly embedded deep in the female psyche and body.
And nowhere does it show up quite like in our sexuality. The place we’ve learned to vacate, demonize, distrust, and offer open access to everyone else.
This is because…
thousands of years ago the female body was colonized for the masculine agenda.
Just like land, the EROTIC FEMININE, the Sensual Feminine, the Goddess of Love, was conquered, extracted, and harvested rather than revered as the Source of our very existence.
In turn, our mothers and their mothers and their mother’s mothers learned that the power of creation belongs to the family, government, and religion instead of to themselves.
But the truth is…
There’s a power inside of you that no one can give you and no one can take away.
Patriarchy knew this, and it’s why it did everything to try to separate you from your body wisdom.
Feminine pleasure was once recognized as the essential nectar that would fertilize the land, bless the crops, and ensure abundance for generations to come. Our ancestors once bowed to the female body as God, for the womb of a woman births the next generation.
A woman’s body was not only a place of child birthing, but was an oracle, a temple, following the rhythms of creation through our moon cycles and life cycles.
Worshipping the feminine, and in turn the female body, is not a frivolous or “New Age” trend.
It’s an utterly essential ancient recognition of the Goddess as the very power of Life. It’s the most vital expression of awakened consciousness for our times. It’s the most pivotal remembrance for the evolution of humanity.
I’m going to be bold here and say…
The only way to truly reclaim the power of the Divine Feminine, and rebirth her back into our world, is by dismantling the toxic destructive deeply ancient Patriarchal conditioning within your female body, and reawakening the Goddess who was long ago buried there.
Not just in your mentality or your psyche.
Not just reading feminist ideology.
Not just talking about smashing the patriarchy.
Not just as conceptual or energetic spirituality.
Way, way, way deeper than that.
In your tissues. fluids. womb. sensations. emotions. orgasms. pulsations.
In your whole total erotic embodiment as a woman.
When you reawaken the ancient sacred feminine at that deep of a level, a cellular level, you remember yourself to a source of power inside of you that literally catalyzes your rebirth.
You embody what women have forgotten for thousands of years.
And your remembrance sends a ripple of healing across the world.
At a time in humanity when healing with the Feminine is the only thing that will ensure our survival and thrival as a species, we return to the birthplace of humanity, the body of a woman, and ask Her to show us a new way.
We summon Aphrodite within all women to rebirth our world back to Love.
