Do you deny your inner Goddess?

Find it hard to slow down? To trust your inner voice? To drop into your sensuality? Believe you have to be young and thin to have value as a woman?

Hold layers of sexual shame? Fear your own power?

Package yourself to be pleasing to get the love and approval of others?

Believe you’re too much or not enough? Hold wounds around being used and discarded? Fear sharing your voice because of being silenced? Hesitate to be seen in the fullness of who you really are?

Feel subtly enslaved to the patriarchy?

If yes, you’re not alone.

Even the most powerful, intelligent, conscious women still have challenges with trusting, loving, and honoring the Goddess in their own sensual female bodies.

Still find themselves (even though they wouldn’t want to admit it) orienting their worth to what the world wants from them. Still judge themselves against impossible-to-measure-up-to beauty, body, sexuality, and femininity standards.

And even after alllllllllllll the inner work….

Still deny themselves the immensity of sacred pleasure, erotic liberation, and divine abundance, they know is possible for themselves and for the world.

After working intimately with mothers, healers, and feminine leaders all across the world for over a decade, I can tell you exactlywhy

Sexual violation. Religious shame. Ancestral conditioning. Fear of exile.

Past life experiences. Ancient unconscious Priestess trauma. Soul contracts. Collective demonization of feminine power.

Sheer exhaustion from wearing every hat for everyone else.

And perhaps more than anything else…

The unsustainable demands of a culture that expects us to constantly override our own emotions, sensations, and intuition, to keep up, “belong”, be “chosen,” and even survive.

To various degrees, we’ve all been taught to abandon ourselves in Patriarchal culture.

It’s ancient, collective, and runs through our bloodlines. It’s woven into every aspect of our society. It’s been profoundly embedded deep in the female psyche and body.

And nowhere does it show up quite like in our sexuality. The place we’ve learned to vacate, demonize, distrust, and dissociate from, while everyone else gets access to us.

This is because…

thousands of years ago the female body was colonized for the masculine agenda.

Just like land, the Erotic Feminine was conquered, extracted, and harvested rather than revered as the Source of our very existence.

In turn, our mothers and their mothers and their mother’s mothers learned that the power of creation belongs to the family, government, and religion instead of to themselves.

That’s why, deep down, even if they really don’t want to admit it…

Most women still judge their beauty against how men respond to them.

Experience their arousal mostly when someone else wants them.

Feel most valuable when the highest bidder chooses them.

From the time we’re girls we learn that as long as we’re pretty enough, sexy enough, pleasing enough, or self sacrificing enough, we will be enough to inspire the savior to come and rescue us from our own suffering (aka our POWER).

We learn to be the objects of another’s desire, instead of the subjects of our own.

And after countless generations of this violation, exile, and insidious abuse, the Sacred Erotic Feminine in our own bodies learned to distrust us as Her steward and guardian, while we learned to outsource the greatest Love in existence.

But the truth is…

There’s a power inside of you that no one can give you and no one can take away.

Patriarchy knew this, and it’s why it did everything to try to separate you from the Goddess.

No matter how hard it tried… She could never be lost or forgotten. Still… it takes A LOT to resurrect Her from the Underworld again.

I’m going to be bold here and say…

The only way to truly reclaim the power of the Divine Feminine, and rebirth her back into our world, is by dismantling the toxic destructive deeply ancient Patriarchal conditioning within your female body, and reawakening the Goddess who was long ago buried there.

Not just in your mentality or your psyche.

Not just reading feminist ideology.

Not just talking about smashing the patriarchy.

Not just as conceptual or energetic spirituality.

Way, way, way deeper than that.

In your tissues. fluids. womb. sensations. emotions. orgasms. pulsations. Flesh. Bone. Blood.

In your whole total erotic embodiment as a woman.

When you reawaken the ancient sacred feminine at that deep of a level, a cellular level, you remember yourself to a source of power within you that literally catalyzes your rebirth.

You embody what women have forgotten for thousands of years.

That’s the journey we take together in Awakening Aphrodite.
